Let’s talk a bit about how Karolina told Nico that she should embrace her darkness. I admit I was very surprised at first. I thought that Karolina would go in the classical way. Tell Nico how the darkness doesn’t define her, how she has light inside and so on. But the more I think about it the more I understand that Karolina’s response was perfect and exactly what Nico needed.

We are raised to believe that light is good and darkness is evil and on some level Nico also believed this.. That the darkness inside her made her evil, that there was something wrong with her. That she would have to fight  it and here comes Karolina and dismisses this entire concept. Karolina who despite being mad at her the days before doesn’t even hesitate to say that there is nothing wrong with the darkness. That there is nothing wrong with her.

And this means so much because I have no doubt that Nico considers Karolina to be a truly good person. Probably the best she knows with her kindness,her empathy, her warmth and for such a person to tell her that it’s ok to accept the darkness, that it’s ok for it to be part of her…..I think this helped Nico immensely

#different franchise but karolina could probably bring back the balance to the force

I would read the hell out of a AU fic where Karolina is a Jedi and Nico is a Sith Lady and they are both too busy making googly eyes at each other to care about Light and Dark
